Children who are in bed and sleeping represent the least amount of work to our caregivers,and our hourly rates reflect this - just $6 an hour once they go to sleep.

Babysitting duties prior to their bedtime cost $13 an hour.

There is a minimum booking of $30 or 5 hours per night (to make it worth the caregiver's while).

It's that simple!

Urgent bookings (less than 6 hours' notice) will cost $15 an hour regardless of whether the children are waking or sleeping. Anticipated urgent bookings (e.g. pregnancy turning into labour) need to be discussed well in advance to negotiate this rate.

Public holiday rates are also negotiable, but will not cost above $15 an hour. Christmas Day, New Years Eve, Good Friday and Easter Sunday are only available at $15 an hour.

These fees are charged per family instead of per child. We want all parents to be able to afford some time out to recharge, whether you have one child or five.
